PRIDE OF WORKMANSHIP.
On Thursday night we had the Pride of Workmanship night. This was also a very good night. The award recipients were Phillip Pitt and Cassandra Wendt.

THE ART OF THE ENGINEER AT TAMWORTH REGIONAL GALLERY
On Friday night there was the opening at the Tamworth Gallery of Raymond McLaren’s Mechanisms: The Art of the Engineer. Congratulations Raymond this was also a wonderful event and John and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening along with other members of the Club.
ESTATE GARAGE SALE
On Saturday we are asked to assist with an estate garage sale with the proceeds of the bric-a-brac etc. being donated to Tamworth Rotary Club. This was a very busy morning with $550.00 being donated to our Club. We were also given a couple of freezers which will be put used for small goods leading up to the Country Music Festival an other events. Thanks to Paul Cole, Andre Fritz, Bruce McCorkell, Wayne Woods for coming along and helping out. Also a very big thank you to the family of the estate for there very generous gesture.

Warren White – President First Fleeters – addressing the Club on his history of the First Fleet
Warren White from the North West Chapter of the Fellowship of First Fleeters gave a fascinating talk Tamworth Rotary Club. Warren is descended from convicts Anthony Rope and Elizabeth Pulley, who first met each other during a wild storm on 19 May 1788.
